Hurstbourne Homeowners' Association

HOA Membership.  HOA membership is automatically extended to all lot owners.  Each lot owner is afforded one member vote for each lot owned.  

Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors is open to all members.  Members elect directors to the Board for a two-year term.  Elections are held during the annual meeting. 

Officers and Commitee Chairs.  The Board appoints officers (President, Secretary, and Treasurer) and committee chairs from among directors.

Committees.   The Board administers with the advice of functional committees.  Committee membership is open to all members on an at-will basis.  Committees may form subcommittees and teams as determined to be necessary.  Committees may not enter into agreements or obligate funds without Board consent.

Member Dues.  Annual dues (beginning in 2020) are $100.00/per household. 

Dues are due to the Treasurer no later than 31 October for the coming year.

Standing Committees:

Park Committee.  Manages common area maintenance and improvements by administered Board-approved contracts in the short-term, and developing improvement plans in the long-term. 

Architecture Commitee.  Analyzes requests for exterior modification and dispute resolution.  Advises the Board to approve or disapprove requested actions based upon compliance with accepted covenants and by-laws.
